Streaming Media

Using this facility you will be able to make use of multimedia graphics and content delivery on your web-site. This feature allows you to deliver multimedia content from your web-site to anyone who wishes to view media on your site without having to download the whole file. Once a visitor browses to the media file, or a page with it embedded, the multimedia content is streamed to the browser.

There is full support for Microsoft's Windows Streaming Media formats (e.g. .wma, .wmv, and .asf etc.) To use streaming media, you install a mount point from where your visitors access your media content. The number of streams on your mount point equates to the number of people that can view your media at any one time.
